Privacy Policy — CoTally

Last updated: 2026

CoTally is a private expense-tracking app used by a small household to manage shared and personal finances. This policy explains what information the app collects and how it's used.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We also store the expense records, budgets, and related financial entries you choose to add to the app.

How it's used

Your information is used solely to operate the app for your household: identifying who added an expense, keeping personal and shared records separate, and letting household members you've invited see the data you choose to share with them.

Who can see your data

Personal and savings expenses are visible only to you. Shared expenses are visible to members of your household. Private debts are visible only to you. The app is built so that no household member can see another member's personal or savings data.

Where data is stored

Data is stored using Supabase, a database and authentication provider. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers or other third parties.

Your choices

You can delete any expense you've added at any time. If you'd like your account and data fully removed, contact the app administrator (see below).
